The FIABCI Saudi chapter was established in 2023 to unite real estate professionals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under one platform to promote excellence, ethics, and professionalism within the industry.
The FIABCI Saudi chapter's focus is to organize various seminars, workshops, and conferences to raise awareness about the real estate industry in Saudi Arabia. Through these events, the chapter will bring together real estate professionals, policymakers, and investors to discuss important topics such as sustainable development, the latest trends in the market, and innovative real estate projects.

Created in 1951 in Paris, FIABCI is a worldwide business networking organisation for all professionals associated with the real estate industry (architects, developers and constructors, investors, asset and property managers, brokers and real estate agents, PropTech companies, lawyers, notaries, and other experts).
Since its creation just after World War II, FIABCI continues to strive for peace and for building a better world through a multidisciplinary exchange, sharing knowledge and best practices at a national, regional and international level.
Present in 72 countries with its 47 national and multinational federations, since 1971 FIABCI holds a Roster and since 1996 special consultative status at the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.
FIABCI experts are at the disposal of the United Nations as well as of other institutions to foster sustainable development, preserve the cultural and historical heritage and create synergy to face today’s major challenges, including environmental protection and global warming reduction.

A representative appointed by each of the Principal Members
Representatives appointed by the chapters. The representatives of each chapter will be determined by the internal regulations.
Each member will have voting rights with the sole exception of the Secretary General. Other FIABCI members can attend General Assemblies but shall have no voting rights. The Ordinary General Assembly makes all decisions other than those that must be made by the Extraordinary General Assembly, as per applicable law, or as per the present statutes. The Ordinary General Assembly comes to a decision on the Board's report, the accounts, the unitary membership fee, and the Budget proposed by the Board.
Only the Extraordinary General Assembly can modify the Statutes, the Code of Ethics, their clauses and provisions.

FIABCI WORLD PRESIDENT
Budiarsa Sastrawinata serves as the Managing Director of CIPUTRA Group and the President Director of PT CIPUTRA Residence, the company behind numerous leading new town developments in Indonesia.
He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CIPUTRA Group's latest international new town developments; CIPUTRA Hanoi International City in Vietnam and Grand Shenyang International City in China.
He is also the President and Director of PT Damai Indah Golf, a company that owns and operates two prestigious golf courses: the Jack Nicklaus Signature course and the Robert Trent Jones II designed course. He is a Member of Honorary Council of the Indonesian Real Estate Association (REI). He was one of the Founding Members of the Indonesian Broker Association (AREBI) where he is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He has served as President of the International Urban Development Association (INTA) from 2007 to 2013.

WHO CAN JOIN?
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
Associations providing services or associated with the real estate profession may apply to become Principal Members of FIABCI. Membership is through a FIABCI chapter. If the association is located in a country where there is no FIABCI Chapter, direct admission can be granted.
INDIVIDUALS AND COMPANIES
Individuals or companies practicing a real estate profession or connected to the real estate sector may apply for membership through a FIABCI chapter.
PUBLIC SECTOR INSTITUTIONS
National, Regional and Local government bodies and public agencies may apply to join. Membership is through a FIABCI chapter. If the institution is located in a country where there is no FIABCI Chapter, associations may apply for admission directly.
ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS
Universities, colleges and professional schools whose curricula include subjects related to real property matters can apply to become members through a FIABCI chapter.
